ਸਿਧਵਾਾਂ ਬੇਟ ਦੀ ਨਾਮਵਾਰ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਬੀ. ਬੀ. ਐਸ. ਬੀ. ਕਾਨਵੈਂਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਧਵਾਂ ਬੇਟ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਬਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੰੁ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ੳਤੇ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਫਿਟ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਣ। ਸੋ ਇਸੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਸਹਿਤ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਮੀਟ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੋ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵੀ ਪਰੀ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯੂ. ਕੇ. ਜੀ ਕਲਾਸ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਮੀਟ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਮੀਟ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਕਾਲੜਾ, ਪ੍ਰਾਧਾਨ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਬਾਵਾ, ਵਾਈਸ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਹਰਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਭਗਵਾਨਦਾਸ ਬਾਵਾ, ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ, ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰੈਜ਼ੀਡੈਂਟ ਸਨੀ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਡਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸੱਗੜ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਮਿਿਸਜ ਅਨੀਤਾ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੈਂਡ ਸਹਿਤ ਗਰਾਉਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਟਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਐਥਲੇਰਿਕਸ ਮੀਟ ਦਾ ਅਗਾਜ ਰੰਗ ਬਰੰਗੇ ਗੁਬਾਰੇ ਉਡਾ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਨੰਨ੍ਹੇ – ਮੁੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੱੁਕੀ ਗਈ। ਸਮੂਹ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਲੈਪ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੀ. ਟੀ. ਸ਼ੋਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਈਵੈਂਟ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਪਰੀ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਯੂ. ਕੇ. ਜੀ. ਕਲਾਸ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਰੀਲੇਅ ਰੇਸ, ਜਿਗ ਜੈਗ ਰੇਸ, ਸੈੱਟ ਦਾ ਗਲਾਸ ਰੇਸ, ਮਾਸਕ ਰੇਸ, ਉਰੇਂਜ ਰੇਸ, ਬਰੇਕ ਦ ਬੋਟਲਸ ਰੇਸ, ਪਾਸਤਾ ਰੇਸ, ਪਜਲ ਰੇਸ ਅਦਿ ਰੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਈਵੈਂਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰੀ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਯੂ. ਕੇ. ਜੀ. ਦੇ ਕੋਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਮੈਡਮ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਇਹ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕ ਮੀਟ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਵਧੀਆ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੌਸਲਾਂ ਅਫਜਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ - ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱੱਖ – ਵੱਖ ਈਵੈਂਟਸ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਰੀ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਯੂ. ਕੇ. ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੰਪਲ ਰੇਸ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਤੁ ਵਿਿਦਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੂਹ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਤਕਸੀਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਮੀਠ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।

ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਕਾਰਾ ,2 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਲੱਖ ਚ ਵੇਚ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ; ਦਲਾਲਾਂ ਸਣੇ ਕਾਬੂ

ਮੋਗਾ (ਜੱਜ ਮਸੀਤਾਂ) -

ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਕ ਪਤੀ-ਪਤਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਲਾਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਵਿਚ ਵੇਚਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਹੋਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਾ ਵੇਚਣ ਆਏ ਪਤੀ-ਪਤਨੀ, ਦਲਾਲਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 5 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਨੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਡੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਪੀ ਸਿਟੀ ਬਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਨੇਤਾ ਜੀ ਪਾਰਕ ਹੈਬੋਵਾਲ ਕਲਾਂ, ਜਸਵੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਕੋਠੇ ਜਗਰਾਉਂ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਜੱਸੀਆਂ ਰੋਡ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਬੱਚੇ ਵੇਚਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਹੈਬੋਵਾਲ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਵਿੱਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਰਜਨੀ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਲਾਹ-ਮਸ਼ਵਰਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵੇਚਣ ਲਈ ਮੋਗਾ ਦੇ ਜੀ.ਟੀ ਰੋਡ ’ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਹਨ। ਉਕਤ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਦੋ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਛਾਪਾਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਦਲਾਲਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਆ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਮੋਗਾ ਦੇ ਥਾਣੇਦਾਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਥਾਣੇਦਾਰ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਗੀਤਾ ਗਰੋਵਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿਚ ਛਾਪਾਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਚਣ ਆਏ ਪਤੀ-ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਲਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਥਾਣੇਦਾਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬੱਚਾ ਵੇਚਣ ਆਏ ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਰਜਨੀ ਦੀ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਹਾਲਤ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਬੇਟੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਬੱਚੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਵੇਚਣ ਆਏ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਬੀਮਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਮਰਥ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਕਤ ਦਲਾਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੇਚਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਚਾਈਲਡ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਮੋਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਜਸਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਰਜਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਸ ਬੱਚਾ ਖ਼ਰੀਦਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

Keeping in view the recent spike in the Covid cases, The Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma has urged the residents of district to the not to be complacent and adhere to follow all safety precautions that include wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining social distancing till the war against pandemic is not over.

In his weekly Facebook live session, Deputy Commissioner reiterated that district administration is fully equipped with the resources and the manpower to combat Covid-19, and no stone would be left unturned for this cause besides solicited people’s support to win over this ongoing battle against the pandemic.

He appealed to people not to be complacent about the pandemic and follow all safety precautions.

He told the people that directions have been issued to all Covid sampling teams to maximize the sampling so that the more and more people could be screened daily.

He further called upon people to come forward for the testing and play a proactive role in this mammoth exercise to check the virus spread in the district adding he laid thrust on the need for contact tracing and home isolation of the positive patients at the earliest.

DC said that the only way to contain the virus spread was to screen maximum people and separate the positive patients from the normal people to protect them from virus spread.

He also briefed about the restrictions announced by Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh from March 1 in the state regarding capping the indoor gathering of 100 people and outdoor to 200 people.

A delegation led by Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu and Ludhiana Improvement Trust chairman Raman Balasubramaniam today held a meeting with Local Bodies Minister Brahm Mohindra at Chandigarh. In the meeting, the leaders took up several issues related to the ongoing development of Ludhiana city.

The leaders also urged the local bodies minister that in a bid to provide maximum benefit to people residing in urban areas, the department should launch One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme pertaining to building bylaws immediately.

Bharat Bhushan Ashu informed that several issues related to the development projects of Ludhiana city need to be addressed on priority basis. He said that Local Bodies Minister Brahm Mohindra was apprised of these issues, who directed the senior officials of Local Bodies department to address them on priority basis.

Ashu said that the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab government is committed to carrying out overall development in Ludhiana city and that work on projects worth thousands of crores is already underway.

The leaders also congratulated the Cabinet Minister over the thumping victory of the Congress party in recently held MC elections. They said that this victory is a testimony of the pro-development agenda of the Congress-led Punjab government.

Today’s meeting was also attended by AK Sinha, Secretary, Local Bodies Punjab, Puneet Goyal, Director, Local Government, Ajoy Sharma, CEO, Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company, and other senior officials.

Farmers’ Producers Organizations to be formed in seven blocks- DC Varinder Kumar Sharma

To give boost to collectivization of agri produce through Farmers’ Producer Organizations (FPOs), a district level committee meeting on formation and promotion of FPOs was held today, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma to monitor and review the progress of FPO in Bachat Bhawan.

In the meeting, DDM NABARD Sanjiv Kumar gave a brief presentation of the Central Sector Scheme of Formation of FPOs and talked about operational guidelines of the scheme.

He told that this committee was formed as per GOI guidelines and Govt. of Punjab, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The Primary aim of the Committee is to give impetus to formation and nurturing of FPOs through effective hand holding and monitoring support, he added.

The Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma appreciated the efforts being made by partner agencies in this field and said that aggregation of Agri produce can be a better alternative to farmers especially at the time of abundance of produce and farmers have to resort to distress sale.

He told that initially seven blocks of district has been approved to form FPOs under this scheme.

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Wednesday directed the various departments to sensitize their staff members to get inoculated under the Covid vaccination drive to win the war against the pandemic.

Presiding over a meeting of District Task Force, Deputy Commissioner said that in Ludhiana, 36195 healthcare and 24321 frontline workers have so far registered on the Covid portal out of which 18754 and 6099 have been vaccinated by the health teams.

Deputy Commissioner asked District Education Officers (Primary and Secondary) and District Program Officer to start an intensive awareness drive among the teachers and Anganwari workers regarding the importance of the Covid vaccination so that they do not fall prey to any kind of rumour.

He said that none of the people should get mislead and misinformed about the vaccination drive.

He deputed the senior medical officers (SMOs) to organize the sensitization camp in the schools and Anganwari centres to clear all the doubts regarding the Covid vaccine.

Varinder Kumar Sharma said that as the district has been witnessing a spike in Covid cases, it has become important to get Covid shot at the earliest which will help the administration to contain the pandemic effectively.

He added that the vaccine is completely safe and even district has not registered a single case of Adverse Effect Following Immunization (AEFI).

The Deputy Commissioner also asked the health officials to ensure the messages must reach all the registered beneficiaries on the Covid portal so that they do not suffer here and there regarding location and date of session site.
