Move aims at speeding up acquisition procedure for timely completion of this mega project- SDM Dr. Harjinder Singh Bedi IAS
Ludhiana, November 14- (Jan Shakti News Bureau) On the directions of Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik, a special award disbursement camp was held today in village Chhapar wherein award money was disbursed among the land owners for Delhi-Ludhiana-Katra expressway.
Giving more details, Sub Divisional Magistrate-Cum-Competent Authority for Land Acquisition Dr. Harjinder Singh Bedi that similar camps would be held at village Dhurkot, Juraha on November 15, and 17 respectively. He further mentioned that these camps are aimed at further speeding up the pace of award disbursement so that the significant camp could be completed within stipulated time-frame. He also said that all the officials concerned were present in the camp, who ensured prompt disbursement to beneficiary land owners.
The SDM urged the land owners to come forward and take the benefit of these camps by submitting their documents for the release of award money. He said that the administration was taking possession land acquired under this project after disbursing award money to further streamline the pace of this project in the district.
