Former Australian cricketer Shane Warne has died at the age of 52

MELBOURNE, 04 March (Jan Shakti News ) Australia's great spinner Shane Warne, who redefined spin bowling, has died of a heart attack in Thailand. He was 52 years old. This was stated in a media report quoting a statement issued by his manager. According to FoxSports.com.au, Warren's manager has issued a brief statement stating that Warren has died in Thailand and is said to have suffered a heart attack. The statement said Shane was found unconscious in his home. Despite all the efforts of the medical staff, his life could not be saved. His family has appealed for privacy on the occasion. Further details will be provided in due course. Shane Warne made his debut for Australia in January 1992 and played his last international in January 2007. He played 145 Test matches and took 708 wickets. He is the second highest wicket-taker in Test cricket. He also took 293 wickets in 194 ODIs. Shane Warne was the captain of Rajasthan Royals in the first season of IPL in 2008 and under his captaincy the team won the title.

Coincidentally, just hours before Shane Warne's death, veteran Australian wicketkeeper Rod Marsh also died. Warren also tweeted a tribute to Marsh's death. Little did anyone know then that this would be Warren's last tweet.
