Bhat (Bhatra) Sikh community UK strongly condemns the double standard policy adopted by the Government of India towards farmers

Manchester , (Jan Shakti News)-

Gurdwara Bhat Sikh Council UK which is the supreme representative body of the entire Bhat (Bhatra) Sikh community UK strongly condemns the double standard policy adopted by the Government of India towards farmers and middle class working families, Trade unions and the general public.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with the Indian farmers community and business community.  We also appeal to the Indian community living abroad, especially the Punjabi community, to condemn these anti-farmer laws as much as possible.

Gurdwara Bhat Sikh Council UK also urges the Government of India to listen to the voice of the people and withdraw this anti-people bill as soon as possible instead of handing over their welfare policies to few private corporate families they should listen to the ordnery Indians to restore public confidence in the government.  Only then can the country progress.

The Bhat Sikh community in India is requested to extend their fullest cooperation in the peaceful "dharnas" staged by the farmers.

Issued by Gurdwara Bhat Sikh Council UK Working Committee.
