Ludhiana, April 10-2021 (Iqbal Singh Rasulpur)
The District and Sessions Judge Munish Singal and Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Friday kick-started a Covid inoculation camp in the judicial complex.
The camp was organized in the District Bar Association library in association with DMCH, Ludhiana.
Lauding the efforts of the District Bar Association for organizing camp, District and Sessions Judge Munish Singal and Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma termed the vaccine as great hope against the pandemic which is spreading aggressively in its fresh wave.
They said that those countries where the vaccination drive was initiated before India, have been witnessing very fewer cases than India.
They said that the vaccines have been rolled out after several rounds of trials by scientists and they have burnt the midnight oil for us so now it is the duty of all to get the vaccine by reposing faith in them.
They urged the people to shun the vaccine hesitancy and accept the Covid shots to build vaccine-induced herd immunity. They said that it is really sad that the people of the targeted category are not much coming forward in many numbers for the vaccine despite the surge in the Covid cases.
They said by embracing the vaccine and adhering to the Covid protocols, we can win the war against the invisible enemy in form of the infectious disease.
They told that we are lucky enough to have two vaccines to contain spike as several countries in this world are still in the process of developing the vaccine.
Prominent among the present occasion included Dr. Bishav Mohan and others.
