Manchester, Sep 2020-(Giani Amrik Singh Rathoar)- Gurdwara Bhat Sikh Council UK (GBSCUK) strongly condone the social media smearing campaign by a minority of people who have been targeting Bhat Sikh Community for sometime. A video is currently being circulated which shows Singh Sahib Giani Harpeet Singh ji Jathedar of Sri Akaal Thakaht Sahib ji. The audio has been dubbed over to make derogatory remarks towards the Bhat sikh community. The Bhat Sikh community is very respectable, responsible and hard working community in India and United Kingdom running international business as well as working in professional government and private sectors. GBSC UK will not tolerate such behaviour and will report individuals under the hate crime legislation updated 2011in UK as well as to the authorities in the countries where ever they reside. We request individuals dubbing videos to stop under hand tactics which cause much divide and hurt in the Sikh community. What chance will the Sikh faith have if such infighting continues?. We would also request to Jathedar ji Giani Harpeet Singh ji and Shromani Gurdwara Prabandak committee to take notice of the abuse on social media by this minority and where possible take action.
