London (Jan Shakti News ) After the horrific racist attack on one of my turbaned guests outside Parliament last year, we knew we had to turn such a negative experience into a positive one. Thanks to Seema Malhotra and Sikh Channel for their organisation, and all the MPs who very kindly tried on a turban for the second annual Parliamentary Turban Awareness Day. We must rise above hatred and educate one another about our heritage, religion and culture.
